Jim Sloan and Marc Zeus Live Music at MB Speakeasy
June 8 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Country Jim Sloan was born in Gibson County, Tennessee in 1943. His earliest musical memories were listening to the Grand ole Opry on the radio. Jim’s parents bought him a Silvertone guitar from Sears when he was 8 yrs old, and a Gibson J-45 after he learned to play. Jim first performed on stage when he was about 13 years old.
The years and decades have flown by, and Jim is still so thankful to still be able to perform the music he first heard and loved. Hundreds of musicians have accompanied with him on this journey and with the aid of banjos and steel guitars, they’ve paid tribute to the true gems of country music.
His personal family has been his greatest encouragement, and are amazing vocalists and musicians in their own right. Jim’s wife, who is classically trained, even sang duets with him in a bluegrass band in the ’70s. I
Fans and friends say country Jim’s music is a window to the past and comfort for the soul! The musicians and singers on his projects are so talented and all of them are personal friends. Jim gives special thanks to Tracy Pitcox for the wiliness to do another project for another “old artist” and most importantly to musician Randy Lindley who produced, inspired, and played on the album.
Welcome to the MB Speakeasy stage Country Jim! We are looking forward to an evening of classic country music and that famous Country Jim humor we’ve heard so much about. As always custom cocktails and mock-tails all night and your favorite warm appetizers and comfort dishes made to order.
