J. R. Pena live at MB Speakeasy in Old Town Spring

A native Houstonian in Conroe, JR Peña can be found strumming his guitar and singing his heart out to both original music and popular songs from various decades that many know and love. When he takes the stage, you’ll be pumped up with rockin’ alternative beats, smiling to some silky smooth R&B, and tapping your toes to folk, singer-songwriter & classic country tunes. When he’s not playing solo music, JR enjoys being outdoors, spending quality time with loved ones, as well as rehearsing and performing with his local up-and-coming alt-rock band, Garden Party. There, you will find him playing groovy sounds on the keyboard, melodic sounds on the piano, as well as harmonious supporting vocals.

As always, MB Speakeasy has a fantastic and intimate atmosphere.  They feature handcrafted cocktails (AND handcrafted “mock”tails for those not drinking) and light food options.  It’s the perfect venue for an evening of live music!
